Galvin in fitness race for Tipp game

PAUL GALVIN is a doubt for Kerry’s Munster SFC quarter-final against Tipperary on May 22 as he struggles to overcome the hamstring injury sustained in the League win over Down.

Manager Jack O’Connor confirmed the 2009 Footballer of the Year hasn’t trained since retiring midway through the second-half of the county’s last round league tie in Killarney.

“I’m not sure, to be honest,” said O’Connor about the possibility of Galvin playing against Tipperary in Killarney.
