Late arrivals
Several supporters were seen coming into the Upper Cusack Stand up to 20 minutes into the game following reports of long queues outside the GAA’s ticket office inLower Dorset Street.
“There was a massive walk-up crowd.” said GAA communications manager Alan Milton, who also stated there was nothing wrong with the ticketing system.
“The attendance was 42,030,considerably more than the football. The message we have been trying to get out there is for people to get their tickets before the match day. These tickets were on sale for two weeks.”
