Yes, I know Dublin have had their share of injuries, but look at the galaxy of stars that Brian Cody’s side have been forced to field without at various times this year – John Tennyson, Henry Shefflin, Jackie Tyrell, JJ Delaney, Tommy Walsh, Brian Hogan, Richie Power, Eoin Larkin, etc., etc.

And still, they top the class. Favourites here then? Well, no, I wouldn’t go that far. The point is that to have even qualified for the final, never mind topping the table, already represents a massive achievement for Kilkenny in this league.
