WATERFORD boss Davy Fitzgerald claims the GAA is ‘isolating’ a string of ambitious hurling counties by locking them into Division Two of the Allianz League.

Fitzgerald’s side open their Munster championship account against a second tier outfit, Limerick, who have been hampered by less competitive matches so far this year.

Clare legend Fitzgerald said the answer is to include up to 12 teams in Division One and throw in improving sides like Laois and Carlow into the mix, along with Division Two finalists Clare and Limerick.
