Brogan: Let’s win league title for ‘devastated’ Alan

FOOTBALLER of the year Bernard Brogan has pledged to do everything in his power to win the Allianz FL Division title for his “devastated” big brother Alan.

Experienced Dublin forward Alan will miss Sunday week’s Croke Park final against Cork due to suspension after deciding not to appeal the red card he picked up in Galway last weekend.

He’ll be available for the Dubs’ Leinster championship opener against Laois or Longford on June 5 but after nearly a decade of inter-county service is, apparently, shook at the prospect of missing out on potential national silverware.
