Take Cats out of calculations, says Leitrim boss

LEITRIM football manager Mickey Moran has called for changes to be made to division four of the national league, which would see Kilkenny’s points difference ignored.

Moran, who managed Leitrim to a 3-18 to 0-0 victory over the Cats, thinks it would be beneficial to the division and football in Kilkenny if the Cats points conceded were excluded from calculating points difference.

“Unfortunately everybody has to put up a big score against Kilkenny,” Moran said.
