Evans fury as fixtures mayhem hits survival bid

TIPPERARY senior football boss John Evans is furious that many of his players may have to play two matches in two days next weekend.

Tipperary face a crunch Allianz Football League Division 3 showdown against Offaly in Tullamore on Sunday — with Evans predicting his charges need two wins from their remaining three matches to avoid the drop.

But a full round of south SFC matches involving up to a dozen of his county panel has been fixed for the Saturday.
