Harte set to make Red Hand return

TYRONE manager Mickey Harte is to attend tomorrow’s Dr McKenna Cup tie against Donegal.

Sources within the county have confirmed that he will be at Healy Park, although it is not known what role he will play in the afternoon’s events.

The Red Hands’ first game of the season will be another emotional occasion at the end of a week that has seen the team manager bury his only daughter, Michaela McAreavey.

“Mickey has stated his intention that he will return, that he was possibly going to return during the week, and I know the boys will, in the circumstances, prepare their best and give of their best to win it on the field,” said assistant manager Tony Donnelly.
