Kerry quintet in knockout stages

KERRY will have five schools in the knock-out stages of the Corn Uí Mhuirí.

Holders St. Brendan’s, Coláiste na Sceilge, Tralee CBS, Pobalscoil Chorcha Dhuibhne and Intermediate School Killorglin will be joined by two schools from Cork, Críost Rí and DLS Macroom, and by either St. Flannan’s or Clonmel HS, depending who wins their game next Thursday.

Group A: 1, St. Brendans; 2, Coláiste Chríost Rí. Brendan’s finished on top with a better scoring average.

Group B: 1, DLS Macroom; 2, Intermediate School Killorglin. DLS finished top with a better scoring average.

Group C: 1, Tralee CBS; 2, Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne.

Group D: 1, Coláiste na Sceilge; 2, St. Flannans or Clonmel NS.
