THE Gaelic Players Association chiefs have warned the Government against cutting the player grants scheme in next month’s budget.

A report commissioned by the Gaelic Players Association revealed that GAA players and inter-county fixtures contribute €192m per annum to the Irish economy.

And GPA spokesperson Sean Potts has called on the Minister for Finance to take this into account when finalising their figures in the coming weeks.
