Kerrigan shines against own club
In a game lasting just under 50 minutes, exhibition play was the order of the evening, with the All-Ireland champions producing some lovely play.
Goals from Donncha O’Connor and James Fitzpatrick had them in a 2-5 to 0-6 lead at half-time and, as the game degenerated into little more than a kick-around in the second period, the green flags continued to come.
Apart from Kerrigan, Colm O’Driscoll, Michael Shields – who was brought on at full-forward – and maor uisce Daniel Lane all scored goals for Cork, while Nemo sub David Nation pounced for two for them.
