Kerrigan shines against own club

PAUL KERRIGAN scored 2-2 against his club as Cork beat Nemo Rangers by five goals in the GOAL Challenge at Páirc Uí Rinn last night.

In a game lasting just under 50 minutes, exhibition play was the order of the evening, with the All-Ireland champions producing some lovely play.

Goals from Donncha O’Connor and James Fitzpatrick had them in a 2-5 to 0-6 lead at half-time and, as the game degenerated into little more than a kick-around in the second period, the green flags continued to come.
