RTÉ score with TV audience

SUNDAY’S All-Ireland SFC final was a ratings winner for RTÉ with over one million people watching Cork defeat Down – the largest TV audience for the decider in five years.

The viewership figures peaked at 1.064 million in the final minutes with an average figure of 900,000 watching the game. The Sunday Game evening highlights programme was watched by 300,000.
