Rogers to miss out as Down are unchanged

DOWN boss James McCartan has kept faith with the starting 15 that saw off Kildare in last month’s All-Ireland semi-final for tomorrow’s Croke Park decider against Cork.

Rogers to miss out as Down are unchanged

Captain Ambrose Rogers has failed to shake off the knee injury that ruled him out of that semi-final clash and Peter Fitzpatrick will continue to partner Kalum King in the middle of the park.

There is one positional change to team as Benny Coulter is named in the half-forward line and Paul McComiskey moves inside to corner-forward. McComiskey and Fitzpatrick are the only two players in the Down line-up with experience of facing Cork in championship action, having played against the Rebels in last year’s All-Ireland U21 decider.
