Kearns rules out Limerick return

FORMER boss Liam Kearns has ruled out a return as Limerick senior football manager.

Kearns, who was in charge of Limerick for six years up to 2005, said he had withdrawn his name from the race. He was one of six nominated to succeed Mickey Ned O’Sullivan.

He said: “I have informed the Limerick County Board of my decision. It wouldn’t be the right move for Limerick football or me at the moment.
