Daly and selectors re-appointed for another two years in Dublin

ANTHONY Daly's re-appointment as Dublin senior hurling boss for another two-years was formally ratified at a county board meeting last night.

There had been speculation over Daly's future in the wake of Dublin's shock All-Ireland qualifier defeat to Antrim in July and that he would not complete the final year of the three-year term he was handed when appointed for the 2009 championship.

But Daly met with Dublin county board officials in recent weeks and agreed to stay on until the end of the 2012 campaign.
