Goold likely to be fit for final selection

CORK footballer Fintan Goold is likely to regain full fitness in time for Sunday week’s All-Ireland decider against Down despite picking up an ankle knock in training last week.

Goold likely to be fit for final selection

Goold suffered the ankle injury in a session in Páirc Uí Chaoimh last Thursday night but it is understood the problem should clear up in time for the Croke Park clash against the Mourne men.

Goold is unlikely to break into the starting fifteen but has featured regularly in matches as a substitute.
