KILKENNY hurling stars Henry Shefflin and Brian Hogan have turned to high tech cryotherapy treatment to treat injuries sustained in Sunday’s All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Cork.

The duo meet with a consultant today to assess their knee and shoulder problems respectively and discover what chances they have of making the championship decider on September 5.

Shefflin damaged his knee in the first-half of the tie sparking fears he had ruptured his cruciate ligament but last night the belief was the Ballyhale Shamrocks attacker had damaged his medial ligament.
