Browne: forget style, it’s all about hard work
The Munster champions were known and loved for their flamboyant attacking brand of hurling for most of the last decade but Davy Fitzgerald has supervised a more hard-nosed approach to this year’s championship.
Nothing highlighted that new, gritty focus better than the two matches against Cork last month, both of which were radically different to the exhilarating shoot-em-ups served up in recent times, but Browne more or less waved away suggestions of fancy tactical tinkering.
