Evans tightlipped on Tipperary future
The Knocknagoshel man was appointed to succeed John Owens on a two-year term late in 2007 and committed to a third season after guiding the county to Division Three success and a first championship win in six years, over Louth.
Evans had spent the previous two years in charge of Kerry outfit Kerins O’Rahilly’s and intends taking some time out before deciding on his plans. “I have a wife and family. I have a ten year-old-boy and I have to get him on holiday somewhere. I’ll step back from that question because I have to take stock. It has been really, really hectic and the break will be welcome.”
