Rebel boss Walsh wary of Mullane’s goal threat

CORK hurling boss Denis Walsh has identified Waterford’s John Mullane as a huge goal threat ahead of this Sunday’s Munster hurling final.

“John Mullane is able to do the business inside. If there is space left there, and chances, he’s not going to be shy about finishing you off. That would be one of the serious threats.

“Their midfield is young enough and mobile, and if you look at the two Prendergasts who came on the last day, who I would know well enough from even playing against them, those two guys will be champing at the bit.
