Kerry braced for O Sé sanction
Paul Galvin is currently serving an eight-week ban after his ‘fish-hook’ of Eoin Cadogan was missed by match referee Pat McEnaney but picked up by the TV cameras covering the semi-final.
Yesterday, it was Tomás O Sé’s turn to have the spotlight turned on him after images appeared to show the defender catching Limerick’s Stephen Kelly with an elbow after the Newcastlewest man scored a first-half point.
O Sé was lucky to escape any censure from referee Pat Fox during an opening period in which he committed a number of blatant fouls – but it remains to be seen if the CCCC decides to act.
