Poor turnout played down

The official attendance was 11,028 but Munster Council PRO Jim Forbes said the crowd was just below their estimations. He explained: “We expected a crowd of between 12 and 13,000. Weather conditions didn’t help matters admittedly. If you hadn’t a ticket purchased you wouldn’t have headed to the game. I’m not sure you can put it down to the Bank Holiday Monday factor either.”
