Dubs’ Quinn keen to kick on after injury heartbreak

EXPERIENCED Dublin forward Tomas Quinn says he’s finally fully fit and eyeing a first start of the year in Sunday week’s Leinster SFC opener with Wexford.

The St Vincent’s man sat out the entire Allianz NFL campaign after breaking a metatarsal bone while training on a beach last January.

It’s the second year in a row his Championship preparations have been hindered by injury though he’s taking the positives from the latest break which has recharged his batteries.
