WAS it really seven months ago that the Munster senior hurling championship draw for 2010 was held and that this fixture was made?

It has been a long time coming but finally it’s upon us, and let’s give thanks for that.

At the time of that draw, last October, and even if the memory of their All-Ireland defeat to Kilkenny was still fresh, Tipperary were riding high, the second-best team in the land and only by a very small margin.
