Donegal star Murphy keeping cool ahead of tough Down test

WHEN Donegal’s ace forward Michael Murphy lines out at the edge of the Down square on Sunday, he will do so having spent much of the week studying rather than thinking about what challenges may face him at Ballybofey.

Murphy sits his final exam in DCU on Saturday but while the situation provides some difficulties, it is not something he is stressing about. After all, he’s a bit of an old hand at it at this stage, even if he is just 20 years old.

Remember, the Glensilly clubman is entering his fourth championship season, having made a goalscoring debut against Leitrim in the 2007 All-Ireland qualifiers.
