O hAilpín: I’ll prove the doubters wrong again

SEÁN ÓG O HAILPÍN has hit out at the detractors who “have me written off” ahead of Sunday’s mouth watering Munster SHC clash with Tipperary.

O hAilpín was substituted with 20 minutes remaining in the NHL final after enduring a torrid time against Damien Hayes with many fans questioning if the legendary defender can last the pace of the championship.

But the former All-Ireland winner skipper last night declared his intent to prove his doubters wrong – something he claims he has been doing for much of his hurling life.
