O Sé worry for Kerry

MARC O SÉ is a fresh injury concern for Kerry coach Jack O’Connor as the Kingdom finalise preparations for Sunday’s Munster SFC clash with Tipperary in Thurles.

O Sé worry for Kerry

The youngest of the O Sé brothers limped out of Kerry’s final trial game on Saturday in Killarney after going over on an ankle and will have the injury assessed today.

Colm Cooper took a full part in the session but his club coach, Harry O’Neill, might be having a quiet word with his star turn after Gooch managed to pluck West Kerry from the hat as the Killarney club’s opening round opposition in the Kerry SFC.

Dr Crokes, last year’s beaten finalists, might normally fancy their chances against West Kerry in Killarney, but this season the division will be rejoined by Gaeltacht, who have dropped down to the intermediate division. They will also be coached by Paidi O Sé, though they will not have the services of Tommy Griffin, Diarmuid Murphy or minor, Paul Geaney as Dingle are senior.

Champions South Kerry will have a local scrap to overcome in the first round with St Michael’s Foilmore providing the opposition.
