Galway board taking steps to stamp out indiscipline

GALWAY GAA chiefs have undertaken a major consultation process to ‘clean up’ their games ahead of the start of the county senior hurling championship this weekend.

The county has been blighted by a number of high-profile controversies in recent seasons with attacks of players and match officials.

However this week, high powered hurling bosses have held meeting with managers, chairman and referees in an effort to stamp out such indiscretions.
