Horgan hopeful Cork attack will gel

PATRICK HORGAN says he and his fellow Cork attackers are working hard in training to build up an understanding ahead of this year’s Munster senior hurling championship.

Horgan finished with nine points in Sunday’s win over Offaly and Aisake O hAilpín, another relative newcomer, notched a goal. Horgan says all the Cork forwards are getting to know each other’s style of play.

“It’s definitely something we’ll have to work on over the next few months, not just for league games, to build up that understanding with each other as we come closer to the championship game with Tipperary.
