Cork hurlers are far from a spent force, insists bullish Curran
Cork enjoyed a great run of success in the last 10 years contesting four consecutive All-Ireland finals between 2003 and 2006 and Curran believes they can recreate those glory days.
“It’s not as if the Cork teams of the noughties is now gone. None of the players who played last year could be considered to be at the end and hopefully we will form part of the Cork team of the teens too. We’re making a big push now, we’re getting a good winter in and we’re very hopeful. I wouldn’t say that the end of the decade means the end of an era, it might be the start of a new era for some of the younger fellas.’’
