THE GAA’s weekend fixture schedule is set to be decimated by the weather.

Connacht Council chiefs yesterday announced that their four FBD League games have been postponed while GAA bosses in Leinster, Munster and Ulster will decide over the next 48 hours if their matches go ahead, with more snow and ice forecast by the Met office.

It leaves the provinces in a race against time to complete their competitions ahead of the commencement of the National League early next month.
