GPA to reach out to club players

GPA chiefs are planning a major forum later this year to establish the welfare needs of club players.

The association are aiming to roll out a number of major schemes for inter-county hurlers and footballers next month.

However spokesperson Sean Potts last night insisted that the grassroots players will not be ‘disregarded’ after the association received official recognition from the GAA late last year.
