McCarthy may face Limerick delegates

LIMERICK hurling boss Justin McCarthy may address Thursday night’s special county board meeting to outline his plans for 2010.

McCarthy may face Limerick delegates

Shannonside hurling has been rocked in recent weeks since McCarthy dropped 12 members of this year’s squad while another eight have since walked out in protest at the manager’s actions.

Limerick GAA chiefs are to meet in Ballyagran on Thursday evening to discuss the spilt which has developed between McCarthy and the majority of the 2009 panel. They will also vote whether or not to back the proposed merger between the GPA and the GAA ahead of a Central Council meeting at Croke Park on Saturday.
