Interpros sponsor admits London final is key to future plans

THE chief sponsor of the GAA interprovincial championships admits he may have to consider his future support of the beleaguered concept if the football final is not a success in London next month.

Martin Donnelly is confident that there will be a positive reaction amongst the Irish community throughout England to the decider in Ruislip on November 8, but said that “can’t always be flogging a dead horse” in the current climate,

The semi-finals take place on Saturday with Ulster playing host to Leinster in Crossmaglen at 2.30pm, while Connacht travel to Limerick to take on champions Munster at the Gaelic Grounds under lights at 7.30pm.
