PAUL GALVIN last night described Kerry’s All-Ireland triumph this year as ‘a fairytale’ but admitted that he still struggles to understand the manner in which his 2008 football season was wiped out through suspension.

Kerry’s victory over Cork in last month’s All-Ireland decider capped a splendid personal revival for Galvin after he missed last year’s championship following a lengthy ban incurred for an altercation with referee Paddy Russell during Kerry’s Munster semi-final clash with Clare.
