Curran primed for action

NIALL CURRAN has revealed how his brother and Tipperary star Paul recaptured top form after being taken off in this year’s Munster hurling final.

Curran primed for action

Paul was substituted in the 34th minute following a rare off-day against Waterford but was back to his old self in the All-Ireland semi-final victory over Limerick.

Curran manned the full-back slot for the Munster championship but with Páraic Maher now situated on the edge of the square, the Mullinahone clubman will start next Sunday’s final against Kilkenny in the left corner.
