Flanagan warns winter training ban ‘disaster’ causing injuries
He is well qualified to state his case. Flanagan’s innovative training routines were a pivotal part of Kerry’s All-Ireland successes in 2004 and 2006 and he is again involved under Jack O’Connor this season, though in a less hands-on role.
A coach since 1982, he has experience of numerous sports other than Gaelic football, including hurling, athletics, volleyball and basketball.
