Freeman case referred to CHC

THE GAA’s Central Appeals Committee (CAC) have opted to refer the case of Monaghan footballer Tommy Freeman to the Central Hearings Committee (CHC).

Freeman case referred to CHC

Freeman, who is appealing an eight-week ban imposed after an incident in his side’s Ulster SFC loss to Derry on May 24, had his latest appeal heard in Croke Park on Wednesday night but the appeal was upheld.

The Monaghan attacker must now hope for the CHC to rule favourably for him as he could potentially miss three rounds of All-Ireland qualifiers for Monaghan should they progress that far.
