Banville: no fear of Cats in Wexford

SOME might feel Wexford dodged a bullet by avoiding all-conquering Kilkenny in the weekend’s Leinster SHC semi-finals.

After all they lost last year’s provincial decider against the Cats by 19 points; a result which fast-tracked the departure of manager John Meyler.

But Stephen Banville thinks otherwise. The 24-year-old attacker would love the chance to face Brian Cody’s men on their home turf of Wexford Park.
