CONOR COUNIHAN was a content man on Saturday evening.

Six days earlier he had been forced to explain how a five point lead slipped through their fingers. This time round, his side showed they had learned their lessons and finished with the afterburners at full throttle.

“I felt we were the better team throughout – we let them in for a period but when we played our best football, we were very difficult to play against. I felt last week we were very dominant, but we were a bit more efficient this week.”
