Cassidy gets nod to face Dublin

TYRONE manager Mickey Harte introduces one newcomer for tomorrow’s floodlit NFL opener against Dublin at Croke Park.

Harte has called up Aidan Cassidy, just reward for the young Augher player’s impressive Dr McKenna Cup campaign. Cassidy will line up alongside Enda McGinley at midfield.

Otherwise the Tyrone manager has selected a vastly experienced team, spearheaded by Stephen O’Neill and ‘Footballer of the Year’ Sean Cavanagh, both named in the full-forward line, alongside Owen Mulligan.
