Kelleher steps down

SOLICITOR Olann Kelleher has stepped down as independent chairman of the Cork GAA talks process, it was unofficially confirmed last night.

It is understood Kelleher has become increasingly disillusioned with the complete lack of movement in terms of getting the various parties involved in the dispute to sit down together and begin discussions on a possible resolution to the dispute.

Despite exhaustive efforts on the part of the well-known Leeside solicitor, there was no indication that the striking players, team management and board officials were planning a formal meeting.
