KERRY have already indicated they will vigorously contest Marc Ó Sé’s straight red card in yesterday’s Munster final if it is not overturned by the Central Competitions Control Committee.

Depending on his report, referee Derek Fahy (Longford) may be asked by the CCCC to reexamine his decision to send the Gaeltacht man off in the 51st minute for a shoulder clash with Cork’s Sean O’Brien.

Depending on fixtures, a four-week ban could rule Ó Sé out of Kerry’s proposed third round qualifier on August 2/3. But Kerry officials indicated last night that in the event of the red card decision standing, they will appeal the decision to Croke Park.
