Six-month ban a bit harsh, says Hayes

THE Clare defender who was marking Kerry’s Paul Galvin in Sunday’s controversial Munster championship clash admits that the proposed six-months ban handed out on the All-Ireland winner was ‘a bit harsh.’

Galvin is facing a summer on the sidelines following his bust-up with referee Paddy Russell after he was booked for an altercation with a Clare man moments earlier.
