MUNSTER Council’s decision to revert to a seeded football championship has the potential to increase the already massive divide between Cork and Kerry and the other four counties, according to Kingdom All Star Colm Cooper.

The All-Ireland champions and Cork have been kept on opposite sides of the draw under the new format and, barring a shock of seismic proportions, the two rivals will be meeting in the decider on Sunday, July 6.

“There has been a lot of talk about it over the last few months,” said the ‘Gooch’.
