Kildare stick with tried and trusted

THE Kildare selectors have given a vote of confidence to the team which defeated Down in the semi-final for tomorrow’s Cadbury’s All-Ireland U21 FC final against Kerry, (Thurles, 7pm, TG4).

The Kerry selectors are not so fortunate. A serious knee injury to Eoin Murphy sustained during the course of their win over Mayo, has ruled the wing-back out of tonight’s game. The likelihood is that Gavin Duffy who came on for Murphy after only eight minutes, will retain his place in defence. The Kerry team will be announced today.
