Boylesports to refund Rebel bets
The bookmaking firm made the move due to the growing uncertainty surrounding the Rebels participation in both the National Leagues and championships.
Boylesports spokesperson Leon Blanche last night explained their reasoning.
He said: “Due to the uncertainty at the moment we have decided to give the GAA punters in Cork and nationwide their own choice.
“If they want to have their money back now they can have it or they can hold off until any official comment is made about whether Cork will or wouldn’t play in the championships.”
Despite the turmoil which has engulfed the Rebel County for the past three months,
Gerald McCarthy’s hurlers remain second favourites to Kilkenny in the race for September glory.
