THE decision to hold this year’s M Donnelly Inter-provincial finals under lights at Croke Park has been described as a “kill or cure” move by Leinster football manager Val Andrews.

The GAA have tried to kick-start the ailing competition by taking the finals to venues like Boston, Paris and Rome but this season’s hurling and football deciders take place at HQ on October 27th.

“I think this is kill or cure,” said Andrews, who has managed his province for the last three years.
