After the disappointment of what had happened in the previous few weeks in the very narrow corridors of the very lop-sided power that is the GAA disciplinary procedure, it was heartening, uplifting, to know that this game is still in the very best of hands – the hands of the those who play, the hands of those who enter that arena and go head-to-head and toe-to-toe.
