Munster final is still very prestigious, insists O’Shea
Kerry manager Pat O’Shea is a clinical man who comes from a multisport background that includes hurling, football and – most tellingly of all, perhaps – basketball.
Immediately after Sunday’s easy win over Waterford he wasn’t yet sure if Cork would provide the opposition in the Munster final. Yesterday he was sure — after Cork did an equally clinical job against Tipperary in their semi-final. And so, they meet again, another Old Firm clash in another Munster final in Killarney on July 1. The question is, however – is it as big as it was?
